Hi there! Welcome to my blog, and welcome to my VERY FIRST BLOG POST! 

I say that as much to myself as I say it to each of you, because blogging is brand new to me.

Yay for new things!

A bit about myself: 

I am a freelance writer, editor, and publisher who apparently missed the memo that everyone on earth needs to work hard and achieve great things. 

Don’t get me wrong; I’m definitely a dreamer, but I know that the greatest happiness comes from enjoying the here and now.

I like living slow – spending my time on the couch with a book, walking around my neighborhood at sunset, or baking cookies while dancing and singing to ‘70s music.

I believe that more often than not, we make ourselves busier than we need to be, and the free time that we do have we waste on things that don’t satisfy our true selves.

I’m still not exactly sure how this blog will grow and what it will become, but I’ve been feeling the itch to start blogging for a while now. There’s a lot of content and ideas that I want to see that I can’t find on the Internet, and maybe I can be the one to provide it.

What to expect from this blog:

I named my blog “Passive Income Butterfly” because I am a self-employed person who often feels like a butterfly when it comes to online businesses. I like to flit from project to project, landing on things for a while before flying off to a different flower with new nectar. In some ways it’s probably not the smartest plan… but what can I say, I have a lot of interests. 

Plus, I believe it’s a good idea to have multiple streams of income. The great thing about passive income is that you CAN set up systems that will earn you money even while you’re off sniffing a different flower.

I also don’t feel like a shark, or a tiger, or a snake when it comes to business. I consider myself gentle, non-competitive, and if I’m being honest, a big anti-hustler with a secret love of laziness. 

So how can I possibly be an entrepreneur? 

Well, I believe there are enough opportunities to make money out there for all of us! And, despite the popular term “social butterfly,” I see butterflies as shy and independent, and I relate to that as a proud introvert.

I’m not only passionate about making money online in easy ways that work for YOU, but I’m also obsessed with reclaiming the time that is stolen from each of us in this age of social media. I fully advocate that you (yes, you!) should live a life that’s YOURS.

I’m all about:

• Choosing “me time” over “phone time”.
• Connecting with people in person versus connecting online.
• Choosing creativity over consumption, and fulfillment rather than productivity.

So, if you’re interested in reclaiming your time and becoming your true self again, taking the best possible care of your precious brain and soul, and making money passively in ways that work for you, I hope you stick around and add to this community of non-hustling dreamers.

I 100% believe there is a place in this world for us butterflies to fly high! And I would love it if you join me so we can soar together.
